Special events for the Waco Symphony Council are our Preview Parties held during the week prior to the Waco Symphony Orchestra concerts.

Supporters of the symphony graciously open their homes to the council members, and the Preview Party Committee prepares and serves the food.

Because the council is so large and so diverse, we generally alternate between having Preview Party Luncheons and Wine & Cheese Preview Parties held in the evenings. Invitations are mailed to all members of the Waco Symphony Council at least three weeks before each party.

These parties give members a wonderful opportunity to visit and enjoy a lovely meal or delightful hors d'oeuvres. At the party, the Council conducts brief business meetings. Party highlights, however, are the talks given by our charming Maestro Stephen Heyde. His interesting presentations provide information about the upcoming concerts, both the music and the guest artists.

Come and join us for all Preview Parties for good conversation, yummy food, and a visit with our Maestro.
