Jewel Ball Representatives
Waco Symphony Council is proud to be represented by Madison Taylor and Taylor Musgrave in the Austin Jewel Ball on October 15, 2011. The Jewel Ball is an annual event sponsored by the Women's Symphony League of Austin. Madison and Taylor will serve in the Royal Court for this special event. The Waco Symphony Council is grateful for the active participation of the parents of these young people as well as their representation of the Council at the Jewel Ball.
Madison Rae Taylor
Madison Rae Taylor, the “Peridot from Waco” Jewel Duchess, is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Bryan E.Taylor and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Lyde, Jr. Madison attends the University of Arkansas Honors College, majoring in Psychology, and is a Chancellor's List and Dean's List scholar.
Madison serves as an Executive Officer of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and was selected to represent her Chapter at this year's KKG National Leadership Academy. She has been nominated for the Omega Society Award, recognizing Outstanding Greek Leaders, and serves on the Arkansas Greek Life and Global Greeks Associations. Madison enjoys outdoor/adventure activities, dancing, reading and especially traveling! She has spent multiple summers in France and recently returned from study abroad in India, working with the "Tibetans in Exile Today" (TEXT) program.
Madison’s parents have been active supporters of the Waco Symphony Council, with her Mother recently serving as 1st Vice President Fundraising and a Symphony Belle Chairman.
Taylor Musgrave
Taylor Nathaniel Musgrave is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick H. Musgrave and grandson of Mrs. Elizabeth E. Taylor. Taylor is a Sr. Finance/Real Estate major at Baylor University and is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity.
Taylor has always been active in sports and has enjoyed working part-time for the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. He also enjoys hunting and travelling to a variety of destinations, including mission trips to Nicaragua and Guatemala, along with trips to a variety of European destinations. Having played the violin since age 4, Taylor looks forward to representing the Waco Symphony Orchestra as part of the visiting Jewel Court.
His mother, Beth, is active in the Waco Symphony Council, currently serving as 1st VP-Fundraising.
